A few weekends ago marked a HUGE first for us – our first workshop! After months of dreaming and brainstorming and practicing and planning it all came together on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.
The craft? Hand-painting cement pots and replanting succulents! We made the cement pots ahead of time (check out this tutorial which we modified slightly) since it’s really messy work and it takes time for the cement to cure. Our crafters got to get creative painting their pots and we love what they came up with! They made great new homes for the gorgeous succulents we got from a local nursery.
In between painting and potting, our crafters enjoyed some snacks and our signature prosecco bar where they could flex a little extra creativity in crafting their perfect cocktail. When it was all said and done, they got to take home their pot and plant as well as a treat, all thanks to The Popcorn Bar!
And an extra special thank you to Jamie Delaine Photography for photographing the event. It was a thrill to meet her (we’ve been BIG fans for a long time!) and she was even lovelier in person as we imagined her to be. Warning: there are A LOT of her beautiful photos below!
Thank you to everyone who made our #coteriekickoff such a success! It was a fantastic time and we can’t wait #sipmaketake all over again. We’re already putting the finishing touches on our Christmas workshop. We’ll be sharing those details soon!
